From what you tell me I have the impression it is stage two or three.
I find it easier to understand what is going on when I have a copy of officials reports, scans etc. then I study them at home and google them. That way I can ask better questions

I meant consultant. I'm new to all of this. Well I've had chemo tablet form every day, along with intravenous once every the weeks where I went to hospital fot that as An out patient. I finished my treatment Last august. Had a cat scan in January showed no spread.

My dad's stomach cramping seemed to be what he ate the doctor started him on a otc stomach acid medicine which that seemed to take the cramping away now he is eating small portions throughout the day with drinking Naked drinks with good nutrients .

I am convinced that this cream is changing my advanced, aggressive cancer into a non-aggressive one. My oncologist said I'm his only patient who is in this situation. Omega-3's are crucial to healthy cellular regeneration. We all need this! Please watch.

If I recall correctly the tumor did not get into the outer fatty layer of the colon, good! Stage 2 a means chemo isn't always mandatory, it's his choice. I am 54 years old and tolerated 12 rounds of folfox6 well, I dropped the Oxalyplatin after 8or 9 treatments because

Ohio state has a study that gives free genetic testing to all family members of a colon cancer patient. My oldest daughter tested positive for lynch and now gets yearly testing that no doubt will save her life. It is a state wide study as well.

Tell your Aunt to not be afraid of the chemo; I am doing my third round and have Stage IV colorectal cancer. My current treatment is 5FU and Avastin. I have very few side effects and they are manageable. This could keep her feeling better in the long run. Prayers

My husband has stage IV colon cancer that has metastasis to the lungs only. He has battled low platelet counts continuously though-out all (4) treatments . It disrupts treatment whenever they drop below a certain level, and caused several lowering of dosages to try & keep them up
