Hi Diane. I am a 7 year survivor or stage 3 colon cancer. I think the biggest thing in non reoccurrence is avoiding stress. To be honest i dont eat all that well but my last colonoscopy was the best ever. I really think stress has a lot to do

I was having pain, bloat, and acid reflux. My intestinal pain was going
through the vegas nerve, through the diaphram, and into my shoulder...like
heart attack symptoms. Nexium seems to calm down my stomach and my

Roop..... a few comments here. First, stage 3 is a heck of a lot better than stage IV, which can require longer treatment. My suggestion is to drink a lot of 9.5% ph alkaline water, and eat a lot of non-harsh foods. Reduce sugars, eliminate red meat, eat a lot

@pmrevu20 The new was not good, stopped treatment. Hospice ordered and came out yesterday. Liver enzymes ridiculously high. Fox Chase said he might be a candidate for an Expanded open Trial of TAS-102. @kimber the Decline I notice is mostly mental. He has lost weight, but he had 4.1 liters

It's great that his tumors are gone He responded well to the chemo. There are quite a few chemotherapy drugs and they work in different ways. He got the strong kinds to damage the tumors and to stop the cancer from advancing. Most chemos are cell-cycle specific. They intervene

Thank you. He has typical nausea and fatigue but not anything too awful. I just think that's gotta be depressing to be on chemo for the rest of your life. And at some point doesn't the drugs stop working? He is stage 4 and he says he doesn't want to
